As a result, most of our client assets are held at brokerage firms, such as Charles Schwab& Co., TD Ameritrade, or TIAA-CREF. With this type of platform, the client has total portability. If at anytime a client wants to move their account or switch to another advisor, he or she can do sowithout any hassle. There are no penalties, and the client is never locked into an investment product or contract under our advisory. The client can simply “de-link” us as an advisor by calling the custodian directly.
