iQ401k Becomes White Coat Investor’s Retirement Plan Provider

We are excited to announce that iQ401k (division of FPL Capital Management) has been selected as the retirement plan service provider for the White Coat Investor 401(k) Plan.

iQ401k is an “open architecture” retirement plan platform that offers ERISA fiduciary, third-party administrator, recordkeeping, and custodial services for group and individual 401(k) plans along with defined benefit and cash balance plans. The platform’s “open architecture” design allows plan sponsors to interchange service providers, such as TPAs and recordkeepers without experiencing dramatic changes to plan operations.

Dr. Dahle, editor of White Coat Investor and proponent of low-cost investing, was very pleased with our fee structure which is determined on a per participant basis, whereas the industry charges a fee based on a percentage of assets under management.

Dr. Dahle details why the White Coat Investor’s 401(k) plan is the “world’s best 401(k) plan” in his post “The New WCI 401K.”
